  I am new to the area and have rapidly become a regular customer at the Simcoe Rona store. What an amazing staff! So very courteous and helpful. They always take the time to explain and never make you feel rushed, no matter how busy they may be. Donna in the Paint Department is very knowledgeable and the guys outside in the drywall storage building have been more than helpful on at least 3 occasions. The ladies at the check-out are always very polite, efficient and friendly. Excellent staff and friendly service!

  Worst lumber store I've ever been to. Used the store in simcoe to build a deck. Crappy material, never have stock on common stuff and the return process is horrible. Take return to yard and get a slip. Take slip to customer counter get another slip. Go to cashier for money back. Don't waste your time, the time you wasted you could have drove to the city.

  I exhaustively explain concepts I wish to have in my kitchen, and she does not apply them to the blueprint causing for a painstakingly amount of revisions as she does not seem nearly invested in my project as a KITCHEN "SPECIALIST" should be.

  We try not to leave negative feedback but we want future shoppers to be aware how Rona works for items not kept in stock. Long story short- too many steps in their process left US calling multiple layers of people (store level, distribution centre, head office client complaint dept) to get 3 appliances 6 weeks later after delivery date changed by them 3 times and promo not capture at checkout so missed air miles. Offers of restitution were low and we would not have cared about compensation if we had dealt with clear communication and less layers of things to navigate. A lot of decent individuals along the way caught in a bad system. By contrast, we needed a washer/dryer replaced just following this experience and another retail outlet had one staff order appliances & book delivery of our purchase which we had in 3 days including a courtesy call to ensure all had gone as planned. Unbelievably efficient and professional. Without a significant overhaul to their processes, I regret to say I will not shop at Rona again for this kind of purchase.
